Raksha Bandhan is a traditional Indian festival celebrated mainly by the Hindus across the world. On the eve of Raksha Bandhan sisters tie a thread on their brother’s hand to mark love and affection. The story of Rakshabandhan dates back when Rani Karnavati of Chittor tied the thread of affection on Mughal King Humayun and made him, her brother. Since then Rakhi is a bond of spiritual love and bond between brothers and sisters.

Raksha Bandhan which is celebrated with great fest in India is on 24th of August this year. On this occasion sisters use to tie the cotton thread or now a days there are many kind of fancy Rakhis and the brother takes an oath that he will protect his sister from all kinds of problems.
